Mountain Warehouse opens early in Bexhill after final push to complete store

Mountain Warehouse has officially opened its new store at Ravenside Retail Park in Bexhill earlier than expected.

The outdoor retailer, which has taken over the former Poundland unit, was originally due to open later, but has now confirmed doors will open at 2pm on May 1.

1066 Directory was given early access inside the store ahead of opening, where final preparations were still taking place to get everything ready in time.

It was clear from the visit that a significant amount of work has gone into transforming the unit, with staff and contractors working to complete the fit-out and bring the store together.

The early opening reflects the effort put in behind the scenes, with the team managing to bring the store forward despite the tight turnaround.

Mountain Warehouse is known for outdoor clothing, footwear and equipment, and its arrival brings a new retail option to Ravenside.
