Mountain Warehouse to open at Ravenside Retail Park following Poundland closure
A new store is set to open at Ravenside Retail Park in Bexhill, replacing the former Poundland unit.
A new retailer is moving into the former Poundland unit at Ravenside Retail Park in Bexhill.
Poundland closed its large store at the site on Monday, 5 January 2026, leaving the unit vacant.
It has now been confirmed that outdoor retailer Mountain Warehouse will be taking over the space, with signage installed on the front of the store as of April 21.
Builders on site have indicated that the store is expected to open on April 28, giving the team a short period to complete the internal fit-out.
Mountain Warehouse is known for selling outdoor clothing, footwear and equipment, and its arrival brings a new offering to the retail park.
The development sees another empty unit filled at Ravenside, with work currently ongoing inside to prepare the store ahead of opening.
